Positions included Manager of Facilities, Maintenance and Environmental Engineering, Business Development and Chief Industrial Engineer.

Principle Engineer

His consulting engagements have been with the ATI Corporation, National Steel and Shipbuilding, Avondale Industries, and Halter Marine in the areas of Research and Development, Facilities, Material Handling, and Environmental Engineering.

Mr. Haumschilt has been involved with the National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP) in various roles. He has been the Chairman of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) Industrial Engineering Panel, the Environmental Engineering Panel, the Surface Preparation and Coatings Panel, and the Facilities Panel. He has been a Program Manager in the NSRP for the Maritime Administration, and for the United States Navy. He has been involved in many NSRP Projects: most recently as one of the Project Engineers for the Facilities and Tooling Panel’s “Wireless Equipment Monitoring and Control System” (WEMACS) Project.

Total management responsibility for the $4,000,000 National Shipbuilding Research Program. In charge of all Facilities and Environmental Engineering with a budget in excess of $3,000,000. Responsible for an average $10,000,000 Capital Budget. Average annual maintenance budget was $15,000,000
